Last post we started prayer with Mangaalacharna on how Ram Naam is much bigger than Ram Himself . We also learnt need to develop compassion in our life with our family or friends. Now with blessings from Ram ji and Hanuman ji lets start learning first doha of Kishkindakand
आगें चले बहुरि रघुराया। रिष्यमूक पर्बत निअराया॥
तहँ रह सचिव सहित सुग्रीवा। आवत देखि अतुल बल सींवा॥1॥

भावार्थ:-श्री रघुनाथजी फिर आगे चले। ऋष्यमूक पर्वत निकट आ गया। वहाँ (ऋष्यमूक पर्वत पर) मंत्रियों सहित सुग्रीव रहते थे। अतुलनीय बल की सीमा श्री रामचंद्रजी और लक्ष्मणजी को आते देखकर-॥1॥
आगें (Aagey) means “FORWARD” “RAMJI ALWAYS MOVE FORWARD IN HIS LIFE .HE NEVER LOOKED BACK” Similarly in our life we should always look forward and move ahead
Moving forward means despite any adversities or roadblocks in our life we should never give up and continuously try to achieve success. Shri Ram ji Himself kept on moving ahead in His entire journey. After leaving “Ayodhaya” He did not look back and continued HIS journey forward. He only returned back to Ayodhya after accomplishing His task.
As Ram ji again marched ahead and approach the mountain named Rishyamuk. There stayed Sugriva with all his ministers, including Hanuman ji . Sugriva from the top of mountain observed Rama and Lakshman and realized in his mind that both have unlimited powers.
* अति सभीत कह सुनु हनुमाना। पुरुष जुगल बल रूप निधाना॥
धरि बटु रूप देखु तैं जाई। कहेसु जानि जियँ सयन बुझाई॥2॥
ati sabhita kaha sunu hanumånå, purush jugala bala rµupa nidhånå. dhari ba¢u rµupa dekhu taiÚ jå∂, kahesu jåni jiya° sayana bujhå∂
भावार्थ:-सुग्रीव अत्यंत भयभीत होकर बोले- हे हनुमान्! सुनो, ये दोनों पुरुष बल और रूप के निधान हैं। तुम ब्रह्मचारी का रूप धारण करके जाकर देखो। अपने हृदय में उनकी यथार्थ बात जानकर मुझे इशारे से समझाकर कह देना॥2॥
Sugreev represent person with fear , lost self-confidence and powerless person . Sugreev mind is in confusion status as one side he thinks that his brother King Bali might have sent two ( Ram and Lakshman ) to kill him . He also thought that god has sent Ram and Lakshman to help in solving his current crisis.
Sugreev asked Hanuman ji that “Listen, these two are house of power and beauty. Take form of a celibate, go and observe, convey to me findings to understand the reality
Let’s analyze further difference between Ram ji and Sugreva . As lord Ram ji constantly moving ahead that is why He is fearless .On the other hand ‘Sugreeva’ is stationed at one-point on the “Rishamooka Parvat” (mountain) and that is his problem !!. Till such time he is seated a one place he is running scared. The one who steadfastly surges ahead I spite of difficulties that comes in the way is fearless .
At this juncture Shri Hanuman ji takes upon to help Sugriva to assist moves forward. Under any circumstance, the person who moves ahead is fearless . The one who is seating is quietly is scared. This illustrates that we should seek the company of good people to eliminating our fear or and boost the needed confidence to move forward for achieving success
In summary always count on our blessings and trust our capability by hardworking aptitude at the same time be humble like Ram who has all the power but demonstrated great patience and simple life
* पठए बालि होहिं मन मैला। भागौं तुरत तजौं यह सैला॥
बिप्र रूप धरि कपि तहँ गयऊ। माथ नाइ पूछत अस भयऊ॥3॥
pa¢hae båli hohi mana mailå, bhågau turata tajau ° yaha sailå. °
bipra rµupa dhari kapi taha° gayaµu, måtha nåi pµuchata asa bhaya.
भावार्थ:-यदि वे मन के मलिन बालि के भेजे हुए हों तो मैं तुरंत ही इस पर्वत को छोड़कर भाग जाऊँ (यह सुनकर) हनुमानजी ब्राह्मण का रूप धरकर वहाँ गए और मस्तक नवाकर इस प्रकार पूछने लगे–
If the evil hearted Bali has sent them, I’d leave this mountain and flee in no time.” This demonstrate Surgreev lost the needed trust and confidence and concern for saving his life .Hanumaji , in the garb(dress) of Brahmin went near Ram and Lakshman and bent his head with respect
Another question comes to our mind that if Hanuman ji took shape of Brahmin then why he bent to Ram and Lakshman ( he had not yet recognized them). Normally any one in Brahmin dress is respected by all and people . Let’s understand possible reason why Hanuman ji bent his head to Ram & Lakshman .
(1) If Hanuman took Brahmin dress than Ram and Lakshman was also has appearance as saint ( Muni).
(2)Hanuman ji wanted to seek help from Ram ji to assist his friends Sugreev . In our life also if we want to help our close family or friends through someone else than its natural to treat them with respect so that get their agreement for support.
(3)Also, its good moral values that if we find someone in our way then always talk nicely and show respect with humility .
* को तुम्ह स्यामल गौर सरीरा। छत्री रूप फिरहु बन बीरा ॥
कठिन भूमि कोमल पद गामी। कवन हेतु बिचरहु बन स्वामी॥4॥
ko tumha syåmala gaura sar∂rå, chatr∂ rµupa phirahu bana birå.
ka¢hina bhµumi komala pada gåm∂, kavana hetu bicarahu bana svåmi
भावार्थ:-हे वीर! साँवले और गोरे शरीर वाले आप कौन हैं, जो क्षत्रिय के रूप में वन में फिर रहे हैं? हे स्वामी! कठोर भूमि पर कोमल चरणों से चलने वाले आप किस कारण वन में विचर रहे हैं?॥4॥
O valiant, fair and dark complexioned, who are You here as Kshatris? He questioned, Ground is rough to walk on, your feet soft well, What has led You, Lord, roam in forests
Hanuman also has been thinking if Ram, Lakshman looks like saint then why they have carrying bow and arrow ( Dhanush bhan) and from outside he though them as prince .
But Hanuman was not sure hence he decided a different form of communication and asked who you are and what they are doing in forest and questioned ground is very rough to walk on it will hurt your feet soft feet.
In summary at new place and environment initially judge the place , understand quality of your friendship/ trust before you reveal everything rather intelligent way keeping your dignity try to get as much information as possible . This illustrate quality of hanuman as intelligent with great knowledge with planning capability to plan a success in new environment without any hesitation at same time offering respect to even unknown person. Let’s adopt these earning in our daily life.
* मृदुल मनोहर सुंदर गाता। सहत दुसह बन आतप बाता ॥
की तुम्ह तीनि देव महँ कोऊ। नर नारायन की तुम्ह दोऊ॥5॥
mridula manohara sundara gåtå, sahata dusaha bana åtapa båtå.
ki tumha tini deva maha° koµu, nara nåråyana ki tumha doµu
भावार्थ:-मन को हरण करने वाले आपके सुंदर, कोमल अंग हैं और आप वन के दुःसह धूप और वायु को सह रहे हैं क्या आप ब्रह्मा, विष्णु, महेश- इन तीन देवताओं में से कोई हैं या आप दोनों नर और नारायण हैं॥5॥
Hanuman ji in brahmin dress trying to recognize Shri Ram continues further exploration that such beautiful form surely must be divine God.
Your form & heart enchants, beautiful and tender, yet unbearable heat, hot winds You suffer. Or You are from amongst Divine Trinity (Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh – are you any of these three gods)? Or You are Nara and Narayan really?
Hanuman ji for a minute thinks Ram and Lakshman is 2 person that how they can be Trinity? Surely, they must be Nara-Narayana (Sanskrit: नर-नारायण; Nara-nārāyaṇa). Nara-Narayana is the twin-brother avatar of the God Vishnu on Earth, working for the preservation of Dharma or righteousness. Nara and Narayana are two bodies, one soul.
दोहा :* जग कारन तारन भव भंजन धरनी भार।
की तुम्ह अखिल भुवन पति लीन्ह मनुज अवतार॥1॥
jaga kårana tårana bhava bhanjana dharani bhåra,
ki tumha akhila bhuvana pati linha manuja avatåra
भावार्थ:-अथवा आप जगत् के मूल कारण और संपूर्ण लोकों के स्वामी स्वयं भगवान् हैं, जिन्होंने लोगों को भवसागर से पार उतारने तथा पृथ्वी का भार नष्ट करने के लिए मनुष्य रूप में अवतार लिया है?॥1॥
Or you are the God of the root cause of the world and the lord of the whole world, who has incarnated in human form to take people away from Bhavsagar and destroy the weight of the earth?
Conclusion
Hanuman is understanding and very happy to see his master (Shri Ram) in front of him. Hanuman took reincarnation to come to earth to serve his master. Hanuman is very intelligent as he know Lord has come in divine form but the same time he doesn’t reveals and wait to see if Ram recognize him.
Learning I remember one of my General Manager in India, always used to tell me that during communication in business meetings, ‘don’t open all your cards’, means even though we know the right answer wait for right time to reveal. I also had experience with my both the children that they ask me question, so that allow me to learn rather than providing answer. In our family relation also, we can see success is directly proportional to our approach how and when it’s appropriate to talk. Although head of family may know everything, but he apply his discretion and wait for right opportunity to talk .
