Kishkindha Kand is the smallest significant chapter in Ramayan, it is very relevant and beautifully explained the relationship between two persons the person can be a master – disciple , husband- wife, brother -brother , friend – friend etc.
KishKindha Kand is very relevant to the problem facing by people in their modern family life .Entire Ramayana teaches us great moral values but Kishkindha Kand is very special as Hanumanji first entry makes this chapter very special !!
Younger generations faces so many mental problems where they get involved in serious situations , these problems can be solved by internal process of mind where they can unite in the intimacy with God such as
Spiritual union (आध्यात्म) is to get positivity
Result in satisfaction (संतोष)
Excitement or enthusiasm (उत्साह)
Development (विकास) during the day
Bestow of life (विश्राम) at night
Kishkindha kand has nine dialogue (Sanvad)
- Ram -Hanuman ( Master – Disciple [ sevak] )- Hanumanji first dialogue with Ram
- Ram – Sugreev – Friendship ( Mitrashtaka)-
- Bali- Tara ( Husband – Wife ) – If husband and wife can have healthy discussion quiet few problems can be solved . Unfortunately, now a days it’s very difficult due to absence of these discussions .
- Ram – Bali ( Dharma Path ) Ram killed Bali for protecting dharma to guide us to follow right path in life .
- Ram-Lakshan – (Brother -Brother) .In this dialogue the sacred and season both has been used as medium. When a brother is taking to another, he should see what season meaning he should study the time or situation at the moment and then talk
- Monkey – bears – ( Colleague -Angad Bali’s son )
- Sampati -Monkey ( foresight ) Sampati was Jatayu’s brother who could see thousand miles away the location of Sita ji that ultimately guiding principle for Hanuman journey to Lanka
- Jambuwant – Hanuman ( Source of inspiration ) Discussion of how to cross Lanka by getting each other’s opinion as team. Its important to provide equal opportunity to all team member then Jambuwant motivate and remind Hanuman to realize that with grace of Ram he can cross Lanka
- Tulsidas ji and his mind ( Taking to ourselves ) When we listen to our internal thoughts in our mind and heart that real improvement is possible
Conclusion
KishKindha Khand shows us where Ram ji always move forward to achieve his goal(लक्ष्य) and has never stopped till he gained his goal . Continue move of Ram ji shows us that he is fearless (निर्भय) .
Sugreev is fearful and stayed at one place, suffered from many problems. we should get blessings in our life to become fearless and build positivity .Sugreev was so weak and afraid , not happy, bliss (प्रसन्नता) can be achieved only by total freedom from fear. bliss can lead to self-realization (परमात्मादर्शन)
From the discussion between Bali and Tara we learned that the husband and wife should talk to each other not across to each other to maintain peace and harmony in life, talking to each other can resolve many problems in family life.
Ram and Laxman discussion where Ram ji insist Lakshman to continue in search for the new and for the fresh, just like having new clothes every day with new thoughts. We have different objectives or goals in our life but need to strive fearless to achieve the goals.
Lets bring these perspective to realize importance of relationship in our life t
