Kishkindha perspective

Posted on

Kishkindakand,   can be thought as   – a unique or special type of search(shodh). Rama is searching Sita but he also searches out several friends and followers – Hanuman, Sugriv, Vali and Angad. This Kand has six or seven special features that are not found elsewhere. It is the smallest Kand in Manas and presents several new features.

The Kand involves the meeting between Lord Rama and his disciple Hanuman. It also features the story of two vanar brothers Bali and Sugriva and how Rama killed Bali who enslaved Surgriva’s wife. It was in Kishkindha Kand that Sampathi as visionary  location of Sitaji   and Jambvant made Hanuman realise about his strength, powers and capabilities

What’s our existence in this world , community and family is only through association be developing  rishete or relationship. This is foundation on building of human values  which convert house in to home , people into friendship. I also feel its like resin binding of copper wire in electric motor that allows motor to generate energy

At same time any misunderstanding between our relationship gives each one of us unbearable pain and sorry hence it’s very important that we pay the attention and preserve the  treasure that any money can’t buy

This is what Satsang guided by uncle ji is helping is to remain connected

आगें चले बहुरि रघुराया। रिष्यमूक पर्बत निअराया

KishKindha Khand  shows us where Ram ji always move forward to achieve his goal(लक्ष्य) and has never stopped  till  he gained his goal . Continue move of Ram ji shows us that he is fearless (निर्भय)

Vs

Sugreev is fearful and stayed at one place, suffered from many problems. we should get blessings in our life to become fearless and build positivity .Sugreev was so weak and afraid , not happy,

bliss (प्रसन्नता) can be achieved only by total freedom from fear. bliss can lead to self-realization (परमात्मादर्शन)

Kishkindha kand has nine dialogue (Sanvad)

  1. Ram -Hanuman  ( Master – Disciple [ sevak] )- Hanumanji first dialogue with Ram

Selfless devotion – without any purpose or gain help each other ..Its also ok that most association when  we need help we connect people

  • Ram – Sugreev –  Friendship ( Mitrashtaka)-

The Kishkinda Kand teaches the most valuable possession of a human is friendship. The friendship of Shri Ram and Sugriv proves that when two true and sincere minds meet, then their friendship is for life.

It is only in friendship that one forgets his own sorrows and comes ahead to remove the grief of his friend.

Shri Ram keeps up his promise of regaining back Kishkinda for Sugirv while putting aside his sorrow of separation from Mata Sita.

Shri Ram is a patient friend while waiting for Sugriv to keep his promise and also a forgiving friend, when Sugriv temporarily forgets his promise of his search for Mata Sita thus fulfilling all traits of friendship.

Let’s love our association with friends and family

  • Bali- Tara (  Husband – Wife )  – If husband and wife can have healthy  discussion quiet few problems can be solved . Unfortunately, now a days it’s very difficult due to  absence of these discussions .

From the discussion between Bali and Tara  we learned that  the husband and wife should talk to each other not across to each other to maintain peace and harmony in life,  talking to each other can resolve many problems in family life.

  • Ram – Bali   ( Dharma Path )  Ram  killed  Bali  for protecting dharma to guide us to follow  right path in life .

In life we will get challenges that will deviate us for short cut ( paying money to get work done – Modi and Adithyanath  has demonstrated that we don’t need to sacrifice our moral values )

  • Sampati -Monkey  ( foresight ) Sampati was Jatayu’s brother who could see thousand miles away the location of Sita ji that ultimately guiding principle for Hanuman  journey to Lanka

We  need guidance from the people who  is visionary and can  have  360 degree perspective and have concern for us for  success  rather than push us to blind spot not to able view results in accidents or difficulty  a longer way to reach to our goal.

  • Jambuwant  – Hanuman ( Source of inspiration )  Discussion of  how to cross Lanka  by getting each other’s opinion  as team. Its important to provide equal opportunity to all team member  then Jambuwant  motivate and remind Hanuman to realize that with grace of Ram  he can cross Lanka

I see uncle ji playing this role by guidance tapping in our potential’s to build confidence on us that we can learn our scriptures to make improvement in life to achive satisfaction and success

  • Ram-Lakshan – (Brother -Brother) .In this dialogue the sacred  and season  both has been used as medium.

When a brother is taking to another, he should see what season meaning he should study the time or situation at the moment and then talk

Ram and Laxman discussion where Ram ji insist Lakshman to continue in search for  Sitaji  with new and for the  fresh idea

just like having new clothes every day with new thoughts. We have different objectives or goals in our life but need to strive fearless to achieve the goals.

  •  Tulsidas ji and his mind ( Taking to ourselves )  When we listen to our internal thoughts in our mind and heart that real improvement is possible
  •  Monkey  – bears –  ( Colleague  -Angad  Bali’s son ) – Shriram  gave complete respected and treated  as collegue  and nominated him as

Conclusion

ShriRam demonstrate us how to value our relationship with anyone by generating trust by  development of consistency behavior with each other .

We all know it’s Trust is not something that can be purchased, or it’s based on how much money   rather it takes long time that need to be earned through mutually by our good karma.

This is where we adopt principles of moral values from Ramayana

Thanks giving me opportunity
