Why nobody ever named their daughters Kaikeyi,

When the names of Kaushalya or Sumitra were quite common? Is it because she was the proverbial stepmother who was responsible for the exile of Ram? But have you ever wondered what would have happened if Ram had not gone to the forest and killed the mighty Ravana?

Kaikeyi was a very brave woman

(1)As we have seen  once she had accompanied Dasaratha to war against a demon. During the war, when Dasaratha was supposed to have been injured, she drove his chariot out of the battleground, nursed him and got him back on his feet, fit to fight the war.

(2)Some other versions say that during the war, the axle of the chariot’s wheel broke and lest the chariot breaks down and bring Dasaratha on the ground; she is supposed to have used her finger for the axle till the battle was over. King Dasaratha was very impressed by her heroism and granted her two boons, which she kept for a better day.

Conclusion : I don’t see anything wrong with Kaikeyi role that we assume  as cruel .In my opinion  we should be thankful to her  as she gave herself all blame for great cause to help kill demons.  I also see similarity  when  head of our family  takes a decision that  may not  be liked  by all family  members, but it’s done in  family benefits.  In reality  Rama’s exile was destined and pre-ordained. Kaikeyi was ravaged by jealousy, pain and doubt so she transformed momentarily into a being of evil .Lets  look insight our own perspective  quiet sometimes…how can we be kind to others, even those we love when we are so wounded? . Also its not name itself that determine what we are rather than our role and positive thought process  .Whatsoever good or bad things every person has their role to play which is why they are present around you. Always be happy in your life and keep your smile
